I can imagine a way to reconcile it all. Maybe one should assume it votes Democratic in presidential elections, as it would in a FL Senate election, but would be quite competitive with a Puerto Rican Republican Senate candidate. But I don't know why I'd assume that, either — PolitiTweet.org

For one, gubernatorial politics in the US are only loosely correlated with federal politics (see: the GOP gov. of MA/VT/MD; Dems in LA/KY). For another, plenty of Puerto Ricans have moved to the US, and they vote quite Democratic in federal elections — PolitiTweet.org
