@SeanMcElwee @Jacob_Coblentz @MattGrossmann i don't think there are huge differences. seems like you have a net-2 pt effect and just miss a * if you drop 'scale' for interpretability. i have a few other controls (obama '12, house '16), and as mentioned in piece adding others can effect results in either direction — PolitiTweet.org
