Getting into esoteric territory here, but it looks like a lot of the NBA on-court/off-court stats count a guy as being "on court" if he's substituted in before a free throw attempt. Seems to me like it should be based on who was on court for the foul that lead to the FT instead. — PolitiTweet.org

e.g. if Kyrie Irving fouls Bradley Beal, he's substituted for Marcus Smart in between the 1st and 2nd free throws, and Beal makes the FT attempt, that point IMO should be charged to Irving, not Smart. It looks like a lot of the current metrics charge it to Smart instead. — PolitiTweet.org
