And why hold a party on the same day as the Memorial Service to the Duke of Edinburgh? When Johnson has already had to apologise for illegal gatherings the night before his funeral? Is he completely insensitive or just totally stupid? — PolitiTweet.org

@craigie_b @K_Fletcher_MP @JakeBerry I think there is a misunderstanding about fixed rate/tariff. This is what I've been offered and my question is how will the Β£200 be factored into it? Guess I should ask @eonenergyuk rather than try to get my head around Sunak's fantasy land. https://t.co/3dx2OO4Jig — PolitiTweet.org
Liz McInnes πΉπΊπ¦π @LizMcInnes60
@craigie_b @K_Fletcher_MP @JakeBerry I don't understand it either which is why I'm asking the question. But the way I see it is that if you're on a fixed rate which is set for the next two years that the Β£200 will have no impact on this-the amount you pay each month has already been set. I can't see how it will work — PolitiTweet.org
Liz McInnes πΉπΊπ¦π @LizMcInnes60
@craigie_b @K_Fletcher_MP @JakeBerry I've raised this and other issues with my MP and I haven't even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement, let alone a reply. Like all MPs, he has staff and an office budget, he doesn't have to do the casework himself but it seems he just can't be bothered to answer me. 2/2 — PolitiTweet.org
Liz McInnes πΉπΊπ¦π @LizMcInnes60
@craigie_b @K_Fletcher_MP @JakeBerry Indeed. That's one of the issues I've raised with @JakeBerry. Another one is what happens if you're on a fixed rate tariff - does the Β£200 just get absorbed into it and the billpayer gets no benefit? And if you come off the fixed rate do you end up paying back Β£40 per year? 1/2 — PolitiTweet.org

She also rejected the findings of @TheIFS and @resfoundation on the impact of the Spring statement on low income families, as quoted by @Debbie_abrahams. Clearly she thinks she knows better. #PoliticsNW — PolitiTweet.org
Liz McInnes πΉπΊπ¦π @LizMcInnes60
She also seems to think that Rishi Sunak is doing awfully well and that "people sitting around on benefits should just go and get a job". When @Debbie_abrahams pointed out that UC is an in-work benefit she just shrugged. #PoliticsNW — PolitiTweet.org

Tory @K_Fletcher_MP states that the Chancellor is "giving people Β£150 off their electricity bills". Is he? I thought we had to pay it back and that the initial unsolicited loan was Β£200. I've emailed my MP @JakeBerry about this several times and received no response. #PoliticsNW — PolitiTweet.org
