Another one is what happens if you're on a fixed rate tariff - does the £200 just get absorbed into it and the billpayer gets no benefit? And if you come off the fixed rate do you end up paying back £40 per year? 1/2 — PolitiTweet.org

But the way I see it is that if you're on a fixed rate which is set for the next two years that the £200 will have no impact on this-the amount you pay each month has already been set.
