@GioRussonello Oh yeah, it's definitely an open question who's going to win. Anyone who thinks the coronavirus make it a lock for Biden are being overconfident — though after 2016, I doubt too many people are making bold predictions — PolitiTweet.org
Zack Beauchamp @zackbeauchamp
@HeerJeet No? Trump's virus bump just ended, with approval ratings returning to pre-virus levels. State polls would reflect that lag. Consistent with this theory, @ForecasterEnten finds state polls starting to swing Biden's way...https://t.co/kYS4TgiL1m — PolitiTweet.org

@GioRussonello I don't think so. The incumbent advantage should be priced in; last time, late breaking voters generally swung to Trump, but this time around that's less likely because he's so well known. Relatedly, 2016 Trump won voters who disliked both candidates. This time it's the opposite — PolitiTweet.org

@cjane87 I thought I was alone in remembering and kind of loving this movie — PolitiTweet.org

If the point is "Trump could still win," that's obviously true. Incumbents typically win! But if the point is "Biden is less likely to win than Clinton was at this point," that's not at all supported by the evidence. What's true isn't original, and what's original isn't true. — PolitiTweet.org

This is a pretty misleading comparison, for the fairly obvious reason that Trump has been president for three years https://t.co/jZq2HFt2Qr — PolitiTweet.org

Mainstream media: Trump suggested that injecting yourself with household cleaners could help fight off coronavirus Breitbart: Liars! A proper analysis, guided by Gadamerian hermeneutics, reveals that he actually meant that time progresses, reality is finite, bleach is all of us — PolitiTweet.org

“So the big issue in the election is going to be the virus. Our biggest liability is that the president has handled it really badly.” “Here’s what we do: let Trump go off-script for hours every day, rambling and giving the Biden people video dramatizing our failures.” “Genius!” — PolitiTweet.org

@NGrossman81 @saletan Oh absolutely! I actually didn't want to write it up until I read it and was quite impressed by their methods and identification strategy. @NGrossman81 @saletan I'd appreciate an apology for accusing me of hyping bad social science because it confirmed my priors? The underlying argument in Robinson's piece — that of course Bernie couldn't make a political revolution happen in the primary, but he'd obviously be able to make it work in the general election — strikes me as extremely dubious as well. — PolitiTweet.org
Zack Beauchamp @zackbeauchamp
Here's @NathanJRobinson arguing that I'm wrong about Bernie and his supporters, that the left didn't think they could win the primary by mobilizing the disaffected And here's AOC and Bernie saying mobilization was their strategy, as quoted in an @ryangrim feature on said theory https://t.co/ls38PVunpd — PolitiTweet.org
