@Fonta1n3 @pierre_rochard With Bitcoin the dice rolls are SHA256 hashes of the current transactions waiting to be verified (plus a random number called a nonce). SHA256 is just a number. @Fonta1n3 @pierre_rochard The difficulty is set like a lottery so that any miner could find a block at any time, but on average a block is found every 10 minutes. If the miners are going faster than that, the difficulty is "increased" which means they need to find an even smaller number randomly. — PolitiTweet.org
