When I graduated about a decade ago, I had around $40K in student loans and definitely had Pell Grants, so this move would have cut my debt in half, meaning that by now I'd be entirely out of the hole instead of still paying off the last few thousand — PolitiTweet.org

But it leaves nonwhite grad degree holders for example in the lurch, when those advanced degrees are often necessary as an extra boost to advance in their field. I'm also not a huge fan of the income cap, given how it may skew the efficacy of the relief program. — PolitiTweet.org
