There are 2 ways to upgrade a paperless machine while still keeping that electronic voting approach. You can attach a voter-verified paper audit trail, or VVPAT — essentially a printer — to your existing machine. Or you can buy a new ballot marking device, w/ printer built in. — PolitiTweet.org
