People don't get the fallacy associated w/the "tenure as freedom" concept. If tenure "gives you freedom", & it can be given to those who won't use such a "freedom", how can it bring independence ? You need the additional assumptions that pple switch from sheep to lion overnight. — PolitiTweet.org
