I disagree with @davidpapineau. Science uses statistics &, as per Popper, doesn't really "accept", just fails to reject at some significance. It's fundamentally disconfirmatory. Stat. "evidence" is inherently probabilistic and cannot be "degenerate" (i.e. provide certainties). — PolitiTweet.org
