Zone 3 isn’t bad. It’s just that you generate fatigue without activating more mitochondrial enzymes than if you stuck to zone 2. And if you do zone 3, you aren’t able to go deep into the 90-100% HR zone 5 and hold it for the needed 3-5 minute intervals. But fun matters, too. — PolitiTweet.org
