@BruceGodfrey Yes because judgment isn't final until sentencing has been issued. Hence case was still within full discretion of prosecutor. Had sentence been issued, DOJ couldn't have dismissed case. They could have neglected to oppose an appeal, but CTA could appoint amicus. Inapplicable now. — PolitiTweet.org
