we're hoping to get 10k to fund 5 reporters to do their work and then sell their stories to outlets - but if you generous bamas kick in more, we'll fund more! So give us 5 bucks, or a dollar, or 100,000! the sky is the limit! — PolitiTweet.org

Here's the link to the Kickstarter @LEBassett and I are starting through @savethenews. Every dollar we raise will go to freelancers for stories about the crucial role journalism plays in our communities and the dangers posed by Big Tech to our industry https://t.co/rVh3ptaMAy — PolitiTweet.org

It'll be open to anyone, though laid off reporters are very strongly urged to apply, as well as women, POC, LGBTQ, and disabled reporters. It's not a cure for the damage the mass layoffs have done to the industry, but hopefully we can help a few of our colleagues pay their bills — PolitiTweet.org
