Laura and I decided to try this since so many of us have been put out of jobs this year. We're trying to raise 10k now, but hopefully we can raise a LOT more than that and fund a lot of great work. Freelancing can be cost prohibitive on the front end - esp if it requires travel — PolitiTweet.org
