In a wonderful holiday column, @JillDLawrence does a time travel trip back to what Valerie Harper's "Rhoda" represented for working women in the 1970s. And it includes an amazing 1975 letter to Jill from a top producer on "Rhoda." https://t.co/t2pA6piCEv — PolitiTweet.org

@cpogash Please understand that my tweet was meant to be cheerful rather than snarky. And all of us have Twitter habits that date back to the days of 140 characters. I know I went through a long period when I dropped articles like "an" to save characters. Also, it is a great Times piece. — PolitiTweet.org

Maybe the answer is that NYC is bigger than anywhere else and the out-migration as a percentage is much smaller than it seems. Also, NYC gained 1.3 million people since 1990 so there are the inevitable effects of over-crowding. Strong hunch -- it's not taxes. — PolitiTweet.org
