Also fwiw I spoke to a very conservative Senator recently who still has some technical reservations about the bill, but also reasoned that it’s unnecessary due to Obergefell — and voluntarily offered that it would be “inhumane” to uproot people’s marriages at this point. — PolitiTweet.org
