@joshtpm School-closures are a good example. Maybe you can make some "liberal" arguments for school closures but they aren't self-evident. Many arguments about COVID policy are orthogonal to traditional liberal-conservative positions. And yet liberal elites have very strong views on them. — PolitiTweet.org
