I'm sure folks will say "It's not about impeachment. It's about Trump's conduct". Which both is and isn't true. The public *does* seem to think the conduct is bad. But they can be lukewarm on the impeachment process, and it may or may not be a good way to highlight the conduct. — PolitiTweet.org

The problem with the 2004 comparison is that it sort of erases Biden and Sanders, who are big trusted brand names and "next-in-line" candidates (Biden as the last Democratic VP and Bernie as 2016 runner-up). There was nobody really like them in the 2004 field. (h/t @DKarol). — PolitiTweet.org
