Cruz had like 20 or 25% instead of 15% and the GOP had a lot of winner take all primaries and he was at least a clear 2nd place (whereas Bernie isn't) in a field where the top candidate was Donald Trump. It was a somewhat viable strategy! More so than Sanders's anyway. — PolitiTweet.org
