Yes, we need privacy laws. But not just ANY "privacy" law. Weak laws that solidify the status quo can be worse than no law at all. Do not, do NOT, DO NOT rush to pass a law that sounds good on a press release and doesn't protect consumers. That moves us in the wrong direction. — PolitiTweet.org

I don't want to read another tech policy article that says "VA follows CA's lead." This is not an AND, it's an OR. It's being held up as an alt. state model but it's a weaker one for consumers, & a type of bill that makes it that much harder to get real privacy laws on the books. — PolitiTweet.org
