Yesterday I tweeted about the move in DC to make it so that you can renew your license even if you have unpaid tickets. The idea is to be fairer to low-income people. A better idea is to level up: if you get multiple violations, you lose your license regardless of payment. — PolitiTweet.org

In a lot of jurisdictions this is a tough call to make because loss of driver's license can be so devastating. But DC is a city with an extensive transit system and we should have very little tolerance for moving violations. — PolitiTweet.org
