In another we progress via stigma and shunning and pressuring others to declare wrong thing beyond the pale in ways that confer punitive penalties. @ijbailey @clairlemon I have mixed feelings. I am for robust criticism. Insofar as critics urged that Chapelle be shunned or fired or have his specials boycotted or removed (I don't know of that happened or not) I'd say that is cancel culture whether it happened or not. — PolitiTweet.org
