I agree with much of this--lots of the pieces have value, the collection asks us to consider slavery's impact on modern life, lots of beautiful writing, etc.--but that the "true founding" claim is "least interesting" doesn't make it unimportant, as the ed materials underscore. — PolitiTweet.org
