The "hit eject key" thing happens all the time. The USB-C era Macbooks require you to connect a traditional USB device via a dongle; unless you're incredibly graceful, you're going to bump it out of place sometimes. It's never affected device before, suddenly it's bricked it. — PolitiTweet.org
