@DKThomp My guess is that voter perception of ideology is based more heavily on a candidate’s identity than their policy agenda, which most voters just aren’t aware of. So the deeply ingrained perception of Biden as an older, moderate white guy gives him a lot of running room on policy. — PolitiTweet.org
