@aHev @andyjayhawk i have a pioneer CarPlay/AA head unit in my 2012 Subaru Legacy, so that’s absolutely doable, even easy to install. a backup cam can be done too, but requires more work running wire from the license plate holder up to the front of the car, so i haven’t bothered. — PolitiTweet.org

@aarond depends on manufacturer, but i think most of them are up to 1.5A or more out of the port, which should be enough for most devices. my 2018 honda pilot has two right in the center console, one for connecting to the head unit and charging, the other at 2.1A for just charging. — PolitiTweet.org
