if google or gmail went down like this, i'd be pretty frozen, but with FB down, i can just go about my day and make jokes about it on twitter — PolitiTweet.org

i know this isn't the case for everyone and a lot of people/businesses rely on facebook, but facebook/insta/whatsapp being down is way less disruptive to my day than slack, twitter, or even spotify being down — PolitiTweet.org

the final-final-actually-final-for-real-this-time-we-mean-it version of Android 12 is apparently still a few weeks out, but until then, enjoy @camfaulkner's very good review of what's new TL;DR: don't stress about the delay — PolitiTweet.org

@mrredbeardOO7 @WrlsFanatic i know it was called "Many Saints" because it's supposed to be centered around Dickie, but i'd rather have seen more of Tony during his formative years and how Dickie / his mother / his father influenced them. there was so little of that. — PolitiTweet.org

(the sopranos show remains one of the best if not the best TV shows ever made. the movie prequel produced 15 years after the show ended didn't stand a chance.) — PolitiTweet.org

@krubenok (performance in my mind is also more than just a faster chip -- it's impacted by software features / capabilities too. and also more RAM. always more RAM.) — PolitiTweet.org

@krubenok this where i say last year's camera was plenty good! :P my general point was I'd rather pay for improvements in the areas i listed before i'll pay for better camera features. typically a better camera comes along for the ride anyways. it's just not the reason i bought the phone — PolitiTweet.org

@annamaria1word @steve_haney @palmsolo my spouse does, she doesn't have a personal laptop or tablet. her phone is entertainment, communication, chores (food orders, bill payments, etc) it's also her primary camera. but getting her to care about an upgrade is challenging -- everything about it is more than good enough — PolitiTweet.org

@nedwards @palmsolo this is true, when light levels dip, the iPhone switches to the main camera and crops/upscales the image because the tele cams are still kinda craptastic. only way you can tell is by blocking the camera with your finger when taking the shot to see which it's using — PolitiTweet.org

@nedwards @palmsolo i'd argue most people won't tell the difference between an iPhone 11 pics and an iPhone 13 pics. nor will they be able to distinguish from something that's half the price, like a Pixel 5A. — PolitiTweet.org
