@Cirilla1253 the scaling is too small on the mini, but for what i use it for (reading, watching youtube) it’s fine. — PolitiTweet.org

@Summerson you’d disagree if you felt this case — PolitiTweet.org

i hate everything about this case apart from the hand strap — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
i got a tacky fake leather case for my ipad mini because it has a hand strap on it to stop me from dropping it on my face when i’m reading in bed https://t.co/1wbIQXev99 — PolitiTweet.org

RT @camfaulkner: i did a double-whammy written/video review for the Asus Flow Z13. It's an impressive tablet, even if its specs can't quite… — PolitiTweet.org

@CharlieBenSaid @verge we’ve also seen that adjusting the vibration intensity slider has no effect, so i have a feeling this is a bug that will be corrected (when though… who knows) — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@CharlieBenSaid @verge a few of us have noticed it as well, we’re looking into it — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@benbookpro no, it needs a second Thunderbolt port to do it, which Apple did not include. — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@agentkyle interesting! i’m not sure it’s much of a loss (I had HomeKit enabled on mine, but couldn’t really figure out what value it added and eventually turned it off) but it’s odd for them to go back on supporting it — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@saschasegan @Captain2Phones @alexdobie it’s an awful lot of benefit of the doubt that a company that thus far has managed to ship one unimpressive product is going to pull any of this off. i’m all but certain whatever does ship won’t hit any of these claims in a meaningful way. — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@RDRv3 but this company that has so far produced one mediocre product is going to help other companies make devices — PolitiTweet.org

@pierce they bought the brand and bought the vibes — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
the new spin this time around is a fantasy ecosystem that other manufacturers will supposedly want to take part in. I can tell you right now this is never going to happen in any meaningful way. — PolitiTweet.org

i’ve been listening to Carl Pei tell this same exact story for almost ten years, first with OnePlus, now with Nothing. I’ll believe it when I see it. https://t.co/mYJudGIWwp — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@awraynor same (i’m using two Pro 6 nodes that i got on sale with a single Wi-Fi 5 Pro node left over from my earlier install). i think i have maybe one or two 6E devices in my house, which is probably more than most people tbh — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@Jesseisajerk @jlgolson does that let you indicate left/right channels? would "Atmos" work in that set up? don't have any of the stuff in front of me right now (or prolly ever again) — PolitiTweet.org

RT @NicoleWetsman: i write about algorithms in health care all the time, but never reaalllyyyy understood how they work. so @GraysonBlackmo… — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@MovieRespecter don’t believe it is! but it runs at an even higher res and is typically paired with computers that have a lot of display outputs. the Studio Display is going to be hooked up to a lot of MacBooks. — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@KudoKun_Eng DSC would help there, one would assume — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@Jesseisajerk i’m sure, yes. macOS shows them as discreet speakers, you have to choose one or the other. — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
a single 27” display is kinda small at this point, a lot of people would be wanting to run more than one! but the setup is super clumsy. Apple should just come out with a version that doesn’t have the speakers and webcam, but i think we all know that’s not going to happen — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
kinda wild how poorly apple thought through multiple monitor setups with the Studio Display. you can’t daisy chain them, so you have to use two Thunderbolt ports on your computer if you have two Studio Displays. you can’t use the speakers on both of them at the same time etc etc — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
fortunately, as with all prior Eero systems, you can integrate the new Pro 6E nodes into an existing setup if you want to go piecemeal and say just upgrade the main gateway for the 2.5GbE port (provided you have faster than gigabit internet, ya big jerk) — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
a three-pack of the Eero Pro 6E is $699, a nearly 17% price jump over the Eero Pro 6. That was already a 20% jump over the Eero Pro (Wi-Fi 5). these routers are getting even more expensive and I don’t know if we’ll actually see that value translate to real world experience. — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
Eero is jumping into the Wi-Fi 6E fray with its latest router. It costs less than other current Wi-Fi 6E options, but it’s still more expensive than the Wi-Fi 6 one, which was more expensive than the Wi-Fi 5 model… @jp2e with the report: https://t.co/nRlpg6vo15 — PolitiTweet.org
