@mims Sean and I were just discussing that it’s wild so many of these companies have lasted as long as they have. somebody must be funding them and it sure isn’t end customers buying products. — PolitiTweet.org

can’t think of another technology that’s been demoed repeatedly for as long as long range wireless charging without actually making it into any consumer products you can buy — PolitiTweet.org

there was a report and press release out this morning claiming that Belkin was planning to launch a device with long range wireless charging this year. @StarFire2258 did some digging and found that’s not likely the case: https://t.co/XynFljB1er — PolitiTweet.org

@DeepSpaceBen increasingly fewer and fewer jobs that can't be done with a Chromebook and require a traditional desktop OS. i still have trouble doing a lot of photo and video work on a Chromebook, but for writing/communication/team management etc I can use ChromeOS no problem. — PolitiTweet.org

@AraWagco yeah it's just a rebadge of another mouse (which also comes in an "iPad" flavor). an alternative solution here would be for Logitech to have a webapp version of Options that let me remap buttons on its MX series mice. — PolitiTweet.org

@sapientspambot you could of course use whatever keyboard/mouse connect, but it's not unlike using a Windows PC keyboard on a Mac -- there are just nice shortcut conveniences when you have one made for the platform. — PolitiTweet.org

before you ask: A ChromeOS keyboard has shortcut keys that match what's on Chromebook keyboards (for screenshots, full screen, etc), while a ChromeOS mouse could have programmable buttons for things like notification tray or switching virtual desktops. — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
there are no ChromeOS specific mice or trackpads, the ChromeOS keyboard options are dismal. i'm now using a Logi ChromeOS keyboard, which is extremely OK, and then a Brydge W-Touch trackpad for Windows computers, which is not especially great. — PolitiTweet.org
