@davezatz i’m not sure if that’s an ecobee thing or a third party siri thing, but wouldn’t surprise me if it’s a mix of both with the latter being the bigger part of the problem — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@davezatz i’ve asked for this and do want it, but i have to say the third party device Siri experience on the ecobee blows. it’s extremely slow to the point that i disabled it. it also sucks at arbitration. — PolitiTweet.org

@charlesarthur @mims @rjcc the AOD is off in sleep mode, other wise it’d be rather distracting! — PolitiTweet.org

@charlesarthur @mims @rjcc fully disagree, i won’t wear a watch without an AOD and i look at it quite often. different strokes! — PolitiTweet.org

@mims @rjcc maybe you’re the alien, christopher — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@kateo @mims @rjcc not really, it charges via a puck that sticks to the bottom of the watch. you’d have to jam that puck between the watch and your wrist while wearing it to charge. it also blocks all of the sensors that track health / let the watch know it’s on your wrist. — PolitiTweet.org

dan seifert @dcseifert
@mims @rjcc charging a watch is different from charging a phone in that i lose ALL the benefits of the watch when it’s charging. my phone can sit on a charger at my desk or get plugged in while driving without me missing much. can’t say that for the watch if it’s not on my wrist. — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@mims @rjcc i have to charge it for about an hour every night before going to sleep and then i have to charge it while i shower/dress when i wake up to get through the day — PolitiTweet.org
dan seifert @dcseifert
@mims @rjcc i barely move so it’s not a fitness tracker for me, but i do wear it overnight to track sleep and give me a silent alarm (this is the real reason) so it’s a Twice A Day thing i need to charge. would love to not have to — PolitiTweet.org
