@JurisBriedis @nytimes @Superhuman What are you talking about? In the U.S. at least, the postal service does not and cannot report back to the sender whether you’ve read a piece of mail, or how often or where. But that’s what @Superhuman does. — PolitiTweet.org

This is a well written, important post about how companies can bake in unethical behavior from the start. It also criticizes the ⁦@nytimes⁩, where I first read about ⁦@Superhuman⁩, but saw nothing this good about its privacy theft policy. https://t.co/KGx9wmtfck — PolitiTweet.org

@patricknward I think one might generously grant that he was referring to the political victory of the Declaration of Independence, which I believe made us the 1st colony to throw off their king. And, as you know, we had won some key military skirmishes from 1772-1775. But I take your point. — PolitiTweet.org

@cancom10 @benedictevans No. Did you read the actual review, or are you merely focused on a spec table which is thrown in partly as a visual and partly to be relieved of having to list all those specs in the review? I’m proud that our review holds up well. Our tools are brains, reporting and writing. — PolitiTweet.org

@thegreatgadsby @theinformation @amazon Ian, I do have both a HomePod and a couple of Sonos speakers. Since Sonos speakers now support AirPlay 2, they are part of the ecosystem. However, I deliberately Avoid the newer Sonoses with Alexa or Google speech recognition, because I do not trust those services on privacy. — PolitiTweet.org

Detailed article in @theinformation on the failure of @Amazon Alexa to gain traction beyond a few simple tasks. My HomePod, a reported sales flop, capably does all the most common things for which folks use Alexa - despite Siri’s limitations. https://t.co/YRFBgJiCOR https://t.co/nSsygubifc — PolitiTweet.org

@thegovier @benedictevans The Treo was my favorite phone before the iPhone arrived. It was the one I used daily and upgraded. I was never a Blackberry guy, though I met with them regularly and covered their products. I knew there was a BB cult. I just wasn’t a member. — PolitiTweet.org

@benedictevans @Harr0uet As you may know, charts like that were and are a journalistic tool for reviewers to present a bunch of mostly mundane details readers like to see but which you don’t want cluttering your article or video. They aren’t meant to summarize the bigger points. — PolitiTweet.org

@Harr0uet @benedictevans This was a radically different phone review, not at all typical. The review was all about how this was something new. We even had to fight to call it a “handheld computer” instead of a “phone”. You seem to be focused only on the chart, which, by definition, is dominated by specs. — PolitiTweet.org
