@luke_tropic @davidduboisx @lost_zanhe @intercepted The US has been bombing Iraq for 29 years. Sanders opposed 1991 gulf war, as did Biden. Sanders supported various bombings throughout 1990s, as did Biden. Sanders opposed 2003 war, Biden helped that war happen. — PolitiTweet.org

@davidduboisx @lost_zanhe @intercepted 4. Sanctions did absolutely nothing to impact Saddam’s grip on power. They did however harm and kill literally 100s of thousands of Iraqi civilians. 5. Joining neocons to make regime change laws doesn’t need an alternative. Just don’t do it. — PolitiTweet.org

@davidduboisx @lost_zanhe @intercepted 1. Saddam used chemical weapons in the 1980s when he was a US ally. 2. After Gulf War, Sanders didn’t just support sanctions, he supported bombing by both GHW Bush and Clinton. 3. There were principled lawmakers who opposed all of this. Sanders should have joined them. — PolitiTweet.org

@seer116dAult @astrocassie It's called accurate journalism about the two front-runners for the Democratic nomination for president of the United States. Unless you have an error to point to, I don't see your point at all (unless you think journalists should not report factual information). — PolitiTweet.org

@nocedadelbierzo @theintercept Did you miss the part where I talked about Sanders being the best chance we have had in electoral politics to have a president that could actually stop some major US imperialist policies? It doesn’t sound like you did listen (which is fine!) But I made points you seem to miss — PolitiTweet.org

@nocedadelbierzo @theintercept Your entire gripe is based on the exact same bankrupt line deployed by HRC’s supporters in 2016. Don’t write or say critical things even if they are true because she’s my candidate. — PolitiTweet.org

@nocedadelbierzo @theintercept I’ve made this point about Sanders for years. Years. And it is relevant because they are debating Iraq war records. It is in the public interest for voters to have the facts. I don’t time my journalism based on what a candidate’s supporters want, which was a common HRC refrain. — PolitiTweet.org
