@gkblankenship I read all the Fleming novels (not the short stories, however) and recall Bond was severely wounded by Scaramangas at the end of Golden Gun but it wasn't clear he died. That was when Fleming was dying, so he left opening for another Bond novel. — PolitiTweet.org
