I was asked to come to Uvalde by some of the parents of victims and just sent two days there. I’ve seen too many teenagers and parents of the victims become activists for something that shouldn’t require activism because we should have leaders who do the right thing. — PolitiTweet.org

The shooting happens- memorials are set up- many people come to mourn- killing all the grass- eventually the cameras go away- memorials get removed- new grass is put down but under the surface it remains the same. Then it happens again in a new town. We have to break the cycle — PolitiTweet.org
