I thank @BetsyDeVosED for visiting & appreciate the American Charter Academy for their dedication to ensuring every student has access to a quality education. Their school is a great example of the diverse options that we offer within our public school system in Alaska. https://t.co/HhSQusdHxL — PolitiTweet.org
Sen. Lisa Murkowski @lisamurkowski
We also took part in a roundtable made up completely of students, who shared that while the school was “doing the best they could with what they had”- a new location for the school (currently located in a strip mall) would make a huge difference in their educational experience. https://t.co/vpYZNkvlSp — PolitiTweet.org

The @ACC_National is doing great work in their efforts to bring about bipartisan discussions–both educating & empowering folks to engage in environmental conservations. After all, nothing is more conservative than conservation. It’s truly a conservative value & bipartisan issue. — PolitiTweet.org

During winter, wood-fired boilers are used to heat the water, running off of renewable resources found in the Tongass National Forest. I’m encouraged not only to see the success of this greenhouse, but also to know these skills are being taught to a future generation of Alaskans. https://t.co/vq1IjJ8ncy — PolitiTweet.org
Sen. Lisa Murkowski @lisamurkowski
In addition to soil, the greenhouse grows produce through aquaponics, which combines aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (soil-less gardening). Through the use of a submersible pump, water circulates nutrients created by the fish to the grow beds to nourish the plants. https://t.co/SaaDdOs3qh — PolitiTweet.org

Today I met w/ Anthony Mallot, CEO of @Sealaska, to discuss preserving the viability of SE Alaska’s timber industry. I'm proud to support of the Military Justice Improvement Act of 2019, which protects the rights of military sexual assault survivors by requiring military professionals outside of the victim's chain of command to make the decisions regarding their case. https://t.co/qH6Cu7DJjp — PolitiTweet.org
Sen. Lisa Murkowski @lisamurkowski
Far too many sexual assault victims serving in the military claim to have faced some sort of retaliation for reporting the crime. It’s obvious the current justice system is not protecting members of the military that fall victim to these heinous crimes. — PolitiTweet.org
