@vonmew1 I agree! Sadly Congress provides operating budgets far under what is necessary to serve the public and pay staff appropriately. South Australian parliament apparently pays 75k minimum. @adamTHX1138 Entry level staff have strong 40 hr protections. As responsibilities grow, senior staff inevitably work over that to meet demands of Congress.
