If i'm doing this right (and I believe I am), normally 1.46 inches of rain falls during the first 11 days of July in NYC. Currently, we're at 7.06 inches. The normal for the entire month is 4.60 inches, so we're well past that already. — PolitiTweet.org

@ForecasterEnten An acquaintance of mine (Lowell) is getting up in my grill saying "they're leagues!" Sorry, when they took away the power from the league presidents they became conferences. https://t.co/m6Sf6sMl8M — PolitiTweet.org

The all star game was a great idea when the AL and NL were distinct leagues instead of their current conferences. When there was no interleague play. When highlights of out of town teams weren't available at the drop of a hat. — PolitiTweet.org

@ForecasterEnten Honestly, I thought Garcia was a nominal favorite (3:2?), but that analysis along with another one I saw (I can't recall) made me think closer to tossup. Either way, it was going to be close... and it was. — PolitiTweet.org

@PollsterPatrick Ha. I guess that's one way to look at it!... but to be clear, IDK which is better. I just think it's a better argument. Voters wanted RCV and voted in record numbers with it. — PolitiTweet.org

Seems to me that the reason to dislike RCV isn't that it took forever to count (that's NYC's fault). It's that a 3 week runoff between two non-Yang candidates would have been good given they mostly (Adams less so) flew under the radar as Yang took up oxygen. — PolitiTweet.org

The 1977 NYC Dem mayoral primary is still the nuttiest thing I've ever seen... and no I wasn't alive to actually see it. These were all household names in NYC. But everyone finished between 10% and 20% of the vote. https://t.co/4k5nlWppxz — PolitiTweet.org
