@WakeUp2Politics Often overlooked fact: Pro temp is an elected position by the Senate and there is no requirement that the post go to the longest serving member of majority. That's just a formality. If Rs take majority, the pro temp will be 89-year-old Grassley! Time to change this custom. — PolitiTweet.org
