Big variable here is 2 things happened politically once, starting with lots of House Rs retiring in 2020 & opening up spots on good committees. Then in Nov. Rs netted seats, narrowed Dem margin & got more seats on those panels. So McCarthy has lotsa spots to give. — PolitiTweet.org
