Spent 8 days in the hospital. Initial hemoglobin level was 4.4, but last draw showed 7.3, which is still 1/2 of the blood I should have. I don’t have leukemia or lymphoma — no cancer. My bone marrow simply isn’t making red blood cells. — PolitiTweet.org

It’s been difficult to walk b/c my body has swollen up due to a low albumin level. So, I was instructed to eat massive amounts of protein. I’m eating iron-rich food & also on a vitamin B supplement. My doctors expect a full recovery, but it will take months to get back to normal. — PolitiTweet.org
