I always found Finance Minister Olaf Scholz practical and genuine. Merkel always blamed Scholz & the SPD for why she only slowly increased defense spending (to 1.5% now) but would get to 2% by 2030. If Scholz follows through, and increases faster then he deserves the credit. — PolitiTweet.org
