I’m not sure that invoking 2 U.S.C. 27 is necessary here. Or advisable. But it might make it safer for Congress to convene. In any event, there’s no legitimate reason why Congress can’t safely do its work. And if it can’t convene (or won’t), it shouldn’t legislate. 6/6 — PolitiTweet.org
