@DWhisenhunt It has. Assange didn't participate in hacking at all. Manning gave Assange a password hash, asked if he could crack it. He basically said "maybe let me try", but couldn't -- arguably he shouldn't have agreed to try, but it had nothing to do with the dump of docs WL received — PolitiTweet.org

@outsh1ned @DWhisenhunt I speak for myself, not for The Intercept. The password in question wouldn't have helped Manning access any more docs. At most, it could have maybe helped her hide her tracks by logging into a computer as the "ftp" user instead of her own account — PolitiTweet.org
