The scene was actually mostly improvised. The idea for it came from the prop man on the set. He asked if I could do anything in a scene if he rigged a ballpoint pen to some Semtex, and we worked it into the script. Our writers welcomed the idea. Glad you liked it. — PolitiTweet.org
