@stshank Yes, valid. I noticed with Google’s smart displays, they expressly have ‘web technologies’ but not a built-in browser. They say it’s to keep things simple, I say it’s to keep things locked down. Feels like we’re gonna keep getting more web wrappers in lieu of browsers. — PolitiTweet.org

It’s been 2 days since I uninstalled my browser from this iPhone, and I’ve not needed it. Most things I do don’t lead to the web and most messaging apps have built-in browsers (telegram, twitter, slack, line, gmail) when required. Trivial to say, but apps really have taken over. — PolitiTweet.org
