jokes aside, Amazon is so late to this. the company has always referred to Alexa as a female-presenting AI, using "she" and "her" pronouns for it in interviews, briefings, etc. Even Amazon's own dev guideline pages say Alexa doesn't have a gender... while referring to it as "she" — PolitiTweet.org
