it really doesn’t matter what you say to staff, if you as a manager or boss contact them on off hours, they will feel obligated to respond. DND features don’t always alleviate that. you need to be cognizant of when you’re messaging people on your team and respect that. — PolitiTweet.org

this is doubly hard when you work with people in different time zones. but it’s your responsibility as a manager to respect your team and if you are messaging them on off hours, to not expect a response (and be VERY clear with them that you do not & it can be handled during work) — PolitiTweet.org
