one useful thing I do with a SmartThings motion sensor, which has built in temp: - turn on the space heater in my office when motion is detected AND temp is below a certain threshold - turn off the space heater when motion is not detected for 5 minutes OR temp reaches threshold — PolitiTweet.org

@benlucier I’d be more inclined towards Hubitat, but my SmartThings instance has been working just fine for what I need and I don’t really want to rock the boat unnecessarily. I use SmartThings for my automations and HomeKit for user facing controls via voice or app. — PolitiTweet.org
