@rcadden yes! there's a specific feature on Samsung phones for this. when you open the task switcher, long press on the spotify app icon at the top and tap "keep open". it used to be a pin icon in the lower right corner of the app card, but Samsung changed it in OneUI 3.0 — PolitiTweet.org
